The Trammps were an American Disco & Soul band, who were based in Philadelphia. From early 1970, the band membership included gospel-influenced lead singer Jimmy Ellis, drummer and singer (bass voice) Earl Young, with brothers Stanley and Harold 'Doc' Wade.
